hi, i'm august!

i'm an artist originally from northern michigan/now based in chicago who loves creatures and makes art things.

my favorite bird is the great blue heron and my favorite color is chartreuse. in the wild, i am often found birdwatching, knitting, and reading about mundane concepts on Wikipedia.
